After submitting my documents to SMU, boyf and i decided to head over to golden mile complex for lunch. and it has been a long long time since i went to golden mile complex. The moment i arrived, i went to find the Japanese stall at level 2. the terriyaki chicken is damn damn good. and it is priced at $4.80. so much cheaper than those restaurants and the taste is so much better :D
we had the peanut paste tang yuan for dessert and i went to try the green tea flavour. Out of fear that it isn't suitable for me, boyf only ordered one for me while the others are the usual flavours like peanuts etc. The usual flavours are really good and the green tea flavour is really refreshing and nice. i don't mind eat a few more of that but i was really really full :((((
As you guys probably know, there is the famous and healthy char kuay tiao stall is located there. The char kuay tiao which have loads of vegetables, no pork and lard.. yes, that's the one! i wanted to share a plate with boyf but.. yea, there's isn't enough space left so we went to tabao it back for our parents. the smell is really tempting :(((((((((
Most importantly, all these are under $25. AWESOME! we wanted to go bugis for lunch but we will be spending alot on food soooooo, golden mile complex is really an awesome place for you to have good good good lunch if you do not wish to spend so much money on lunch alone :)
so, if you happened to be at golden mile complex / army market, do try the jap food, the tang yuan and char kuay tiao! IT IS DAMNNNNNNNNNN GOOD!
